2x Circle of Life - Character modifier. Play on your character. Special: After this character goes to the discard pile, you may play another character of power 3 or less from your hand or discard pile as an extra character. 1x Hakuna Matata - Draw two cards. If the Timon and Pumbaa card is in your discard pile, place it into your hand. 1x He Lives In You - Base modifier. Ongoing: Your characters here each have +1 power. If Mufasa is in your discard pile, they have +2 power instead. 1x Hyenas’ Den - Base modifier. Talent: One of your characters here gains +2 power until the end of the turn. Special: After a base scores, if Mufasa is in your discard pile, you may move this card to another base. 1x Just Can’t Wait to be King - Place two +1 power counters on one of your characters. If Mufasa is in your discard pile, place four +1 power counters on it instead. 1x Scar - Destroy another player’s character of power 5 or less, OR destroy one of your characters to draw cards equal to its power. 1x The Hyenas - Destroy a character of power 3 or less. If Mufasa is in your discard pile, draw a card and you may play an extra action. 2x Wildebeest Stampede - Destroy one of your characters to search your deck for a character, shuffle your deck, and play it as an extra character.

1x Mufasa - power 6 - Special: After this character goes to the discard pile from play, you may place up to four +1 power counters total on your characters. 1x Nala - power 4 - Ongoing: If there is a Lion Cub in your discard pile, this character has +2 power. 1x Simba - power 4 - Ongoing: If Mufasa is in your discard pile, this character has +2 power. Special: After this character goes to the discard pile from play, you may shuffle it into your deck. 1x Rafiki - power 3 - Talent: Place a character of power 2 or less from your discard pile into your hand. 1x Timon and Pumbaa - power 3 - Talent: Place a card from your discard pile on the bottom of your deck. If that card is Hakuna Matata, place it into your hand instead. 1x Zazu - power 3 - Talent: Give another of your characters here +2 power until the end of the turn, OR if Mufasa is in your discard pile, draw a card. 4x Lion Cub - power 2 - Special: After this character goes to the discard pile from play, you may search your deck for a character of power 4 or less, reveal it, draw it, and shuffle your deck.

Synergies

* Killer Plants - Killer Kudzu can easily recur Lion Cubs using its talent, and shuffle Lion Cubs or targets for their specials into your deck with its own special. * Kitty Cats - Kitty Cats love to destroy their own minions/characters, which helps enable the Lion Cubs' character searching and can get Mufasa into your discard easily. They can also steal other players' characters to use as fodder for Scar or Wildebeest Stampede. * Sharks - Sharks are good at destroying minions, especially with power 2 or less, making them excellent for triggering Lion Cub's special. Lion Cubs can fetch Great Whites or Hammerheads. Timon and Pumbaa can be recurred with Hakuna Matata, making them decent fodder for Sharks as well (but no worries, right?). Blood in the Water and Circle of Life allow you to play lots of extra minions quickly. * Superheroes - Mild Mannered Citizen can fetch Mufasa, and Rafiki can recur your Mild Mannered Citizens easily. * Samurai - Both factions benefit from minions going to discard, and are equipped wth plenty of tools to help it happen. Of particular note is Bushi, who scores you 1 VP if it has 5 or more power when it goes to discard from play. With He Lives In You on the same base, you have an easy way to increase Bushi's power. Timon and Pumbaa can place Bushi from your discard pile onto the bottom of your deck, allowing you to fetch it again using a Lion Cub or Wildebeest Stampede. With the right setup, it's entirely possible to farm VP by fetching Bushi, playing it on the base with He Lives in You, then destroying it with a card like Wildebeest Stampede or Yokai Attack.

Tips

* Do what you can to get Mufasa in play early -- Wildebeest Stampede helps -- to both use him in play and to support you from the discard pile. * If any of Lion Cub, Simba, Mufasa, or Circle of Life trigger at the same time, you can choose their order of resolving to get multiple benefits for the same character. * Lion Cub can help quickly bring out Simba, Nala, or powerful characters from your partner faction.
